There is something about the glow of a warm August evening, the light seems thicker and warmer like a cosy pair of socks. There are a plethora of sun ripened fruits to be harvested and everything seems to be reaching that summer crescendo. August is the month of tomatoes, there is an overwhelming delight in that first sun ripened tomato and the taste never disappoints, which explains why we continue to grow them year after year.
