This month everything seems to be growing full steam ahead, beans are climbing, flower buds are forming and fruits are ripening. You can feel the abundance just over the horizon, so keep picking, keep tying in and more importantly keep sowing - to keep you harvesting every day keep sowing, I always make sure a sow plenty of successional salad crops and backups just in case the slugs and snails get to them before me!

Start thinking ahead now as well as sowing successional crops, I’ve been sowing;

purple sprouting broccoli
winter cabbage
chicory
spring onions
cauliflower

If like me you’ve sown some backups in the greenhouse, now is a good time to find space for them in beds or planters;

I was reading a list of ‘what to harvest’ this month and I realised that not all gardens are the same and depending on when you sown/planted your produce would depend on what you were harvesting, so here’s a list of what I will be harvesting this month;
